JBid doesn't work with windows 10?

Reported by Roger Crocker | August 15th, 2015 @ 05:22 AM | in 2.1 Release

I can't get it to work on windows 10. I updated Java. The program opens but when I try to add an auction it says "null" also on opening it says "failure in checking for update". Is there something I can do or does it just not work with windows 10?

Agreed, just upgraded to the free version of Win 10.
Even with Win& compatibility IE11 then jbidWatcher fails to log in...I cannot snipe therefore
I assume that the software team are on with a fix? If not I cannot justify paying for it!

    Greetings,
This is odd, as JBidwatcher seems to work okay on Windows 10 for me; it may be security settings of some sort. I'll look into it further this weekend.

My new computer came with 10 installed. I finally got it to work by using the option of running it with an earlier version of windows. Tried all finally got it work with XP. Which is strange cause I had been using Vista HP on my old pc.

JBid is a tool that allows students to bid on items in an auction. It's quick and easy, but often times when you attempt to use JBid with Windows 10 it doesn't work. This article explains what the buy college essay issue could be, and how to fix it for yourself if you're having this issue as well.

Restart your system before installation. Once you find error 1603, restart your system .. Download and install the installer offline. When done, select Save in the recording dialog box, and save the recording package in a convenient location (for example save on desktop). Now double-click on the downloaded installation file to go for the process of installation. Remove Java features before installation. If the above procedures fail to resolve the issue, it is recommended that you remove all existing Java versions from the system. Reboot the program after removing all Java features, before attempting to install it. You can also Remove Java content through the Java Control Panel. This option removes Java content from the browser before installation. See this useful site here now. As soon as you see error 1603, turn off the installer. Find and launch Java Control Panel. Here uncheck it and go for the option that lets Java's content be Enabled in the browser option. There in the Java Control Panel, tap the Security tab and deselect the option before enabling Java content in the browser. Here tap the option of Apply and then OK to verify the changes. Reboot Java and re-enable Java content in the browser. Download and install the offline installation package. After the installation is complete, re-enable the option to Enable Java content in the browser if you need to run Java content in the browser.
