Stops loading at "loading auctions"

Reported by ialias | August 27th, 2014 @ 07:54 AM | in 2.1 Release

I installed JBidWatcher around a week ago. Used it to snipe a few auctions then donated. After donating I used the program once more no problems.
Then the problems started.
Windows stopped being able to start, so I used the start-up repair to reset the system.
Now JBidWatcher had (for obvious reasons) been uninstalled. I reinstalled the JBidWatcher software and all the updates (windows and java). After that everything worked fine, both JBidWatcher and windows.

Now a few days later JBidWatcher just stopped working.
When I start the program, the program start-up icon appears. It works, but when it gets to “loading auctions” it locks and doesn’t go any further.
Checked the task manager, JavaW.exe is running as it should.
Tried killing the process and starting again, same result.
Tried killing the process and starting the program as admin, same result.
Restarted windows and tried again, same result.
Reinstalled JBidWatcher, same result.

I am at a loss and I have an important auction that needs sniping during the night, and I have to sleep since I have to be at work at the hospital tomorrow.
I am starting this thread as a desperate cry for help, do you know of anything that could help me?

I am running windows 7 x64 fully updated.
Java is (of course) fully updated.
Tried running both with and without my OpenVPN IP anonymity service, checked AV and firewall settings.

All suggestions appreciated.
Sincerely yours.
