snipes outstanding ..

Reported by peter | February 2nd, 2011 @ 03:45 PM

when closing tells me that there are outstanding snipes (do you wish to see this dialogue again), even when there aren't any ..

not a big deal, buit is nice to have - if it works correctly .. would also be nice to correctly say how long before next snipe .. can then easily decide whether can switch-off computer or not ..

    Greetings,
What OS? If you're running Windows, and enable the 'sytem tray' mode, and
hover your cursor over JBidwatcher's icon in the system tray, it'll tell you
when the next snipe to fire is.

What you say worries me a little bit, as JBidwatcher doesn't really put that
message up unless it's pretty confident you have a snipe still outstanding.
    :(

I need to look into putting together a debugging toolkit for JBidwatcher
that lets anybody see all that information...

    hi morgan,

    jdid, 2.1.3 ..
    xp, patched to latest ..
    java 1.6.0.23 b5 ..

attached are three screen shots ..
document1 shows no outstanding snipes, but message saying there are
some (no further details) .. just started up JB and shut down .. as
    yesterday ..
document2 hovering over icon in system tray just shows JB .. when
actually no snipes outstanding (same situation as document1) .. I.e.
    probably correct ..

document3, have added ONE snipe, hovering over icon says TWO
outstanding snipes, even though only added 1 for purpose of test ..
    I.e. wrong ..

hope this helps .. JB is the "dogs bollocks" as we say here in England
    .. thanks ..

    regards

    Running 2.1.4.1 on Ubuntu 10.04.
    I also meet this problem.
    Started quite a time ago.
    The "current" folder is empty.
All End Dates of "complete" folder are in the past.
Is there some config variable I can reset?
    Thanks!

Did you re-install java after the OS upgrade? By default, Apple disables java. There is probably a way to re-enable it, but the install is quick and insures that you have the most recent version and now check out bid4papers to manage your college thesis task. Keep it up!

Reading bestdissertation.com reviews for making my science demonstration was among the best encounters. The price is quite agreeable, writers are quick and professional and the mission was completed flawlessly.Read more.
