#802 ✓resolved

null prices for multiple items, seller and feedback not retrieved, v. 2.0.1-825

Reported by Eric | June 14th, 2009 @ 12:03 PM | in 2.1 Release

I really like your program, jbidder.

I've been having problems recently with old and new versions. I just downloaded the most recent installer from your web page and the problems persist. I've attached a screen shot of what I'm seeing.

For things in which multiple items can be purchased, like computer cables, the price is coming up as 'nullx10'.

I've deleted all items from within Jbid then re-retrieved them. All items come back as seller= (unknown) and feedback= 0. In a few cases, (not captured on the screenshot) the end date was not retrieved.

Jbid reports it is version (2.0.1-825)

FYI and thanks,

They're both side-effects of eBay's newest page format. I have a fix for them, but I've been trying to replicate a multisniping bug, so I can fix that before I release a new version. I'm starting to take folks who are interested in alpha testing it, though. A lot has changed (although entirely under the hood; the UI is pretty much untouched), so the first few alpha's are going to be really bleeding-edge, and while I'm always testing it, it's entirely possible it'll fail in new and glorious ways. :) If you're up for that, email me at alpha @ jbidwatcher.com and I'll let you know as soon as it's available.

This is believed to be fixed. Either in some earlier release, the current (2.1pre4), or a soon-to-be released version. If the problem still occurs with 2.1pre4 (or a the latest, if a newer version has been released), please re-open.
