Does not bid on multiple item auction

Reported by TigerPilot | June 19th, 2008 @ 06:09 AM | in 2.0 Beta 4

If it is a multiple auction, it reports that there was an error and a bid, even if it is a matching one and items are still available for that price, will not be put in.

Please take a look at ticket #146 for possible reasons:

What does the error log state?

    Sincerely,

    Therese

I can show you only what the info window says since the auction ended on the 18th and the error log doesn't go back that far.

Wed Jun 18 03:10:54 GMT-04:00 2008: Preparing snipe. Wed Jun 18 03:11:03 GMT-04:00 2008: Loading bid request... Wed Jun 18 03:11:06 GMT-04:00 2008: Failed to bid. 'Show Last Error' from context menu to see the failure page from the bid attempt.

Please not that that error is different from the one in #146 which happened to me too but I didn't report it since I thought that that problem is not JBW problem but now I think that it is JBW proble since it happened to others too.

      • → State changed from “new” to “open”
      • → Tag changed from “” to “bid”
      • → Milestone changed from “2.0 Full Release” to “2.0 Beta 4”

    Greetings,

I'll investigate bidding on dutch items.

#146 is due to eBay pushing their buyer restrictions more in the wake of their feedback changes, combined with not recognizing users having Paypal accounts (having to go through a process to link the accounts instead of doing it automatically).

    Greetings,

In my tests, JBidwatcher 2.0 (the latest build) bids successfully on dutch items. (I won a pair of cute fox address stickers.)

I'll be pushing the latest version as soon as I can.
