Mac OS X: sides of column headings are not drawn

On Mac OS X, the edges/sides of column headings are not drawn. This makes it very difficult to resize columns because there is no visual target to aim the mouse pointer at for click-dragging of the column edge.

Is this possibly a quaqua issue?
I use:
setBorder(UIManager.getBorder("TableHeader.cellBorder"));to set the border for table headers, which should be right.
